Church of San Pedro de Leirado
The church that belonged to the monastery of Ramirás is a magnificent example of baroque art from the 17th and 18th centuries. It was built between 1664 and 1701.
It has a Latin cross floor plan, with three naves separated by columns and a wooden roof. The apse has a ribbed vault and the sacristy has a canon vault, in which a washbasin in the shape of a head should be highlighted. Inside, the altarpieces stand out: a major and two minor side ones, of baroque style made in the 17th century. The main altarpiece is the work of Alonso López and Bernardo de Cores.
